The Temple Bell

The temple bell stops - but the sound keeps coming out of the flowers.
- Matsuo Basho

This piece explores the interplay of resonances between two grand pianos and is inspired by the above haiku by Japanese poet Matsuo Basho. It is about allowing oneself to be surrounded by the fullness of echoes upon echoes, to transcend tradition.
