Ferroelectric Memory came about because I wanted to build an electronic instrument that produced sound without oscillators, using only electronic resonance as the source. The result was the ++ping, a virtual modular synthesiser built in VCV Rack that uses control voltage triggers, MIDI CC and CV input and a total of twelve resonant filter chains in three tunings. Some of these chains receive input from pre-programmed elements and some are playable via MIDI.
